"I hate moving" -or- "We fear change"
Looks like this is the big weekend.

What big weekend, you ask?

The weekend of the big move. For the first time since coming to the new building on March 7, 2002, I'm being moved. It's the end of an era, in many respects, since there are only two other people who have been occupying the same workspace since the move (there are a few more people who haven't moved since they started here, but their start dates are all later than 3/7/02). I've become something of a fixture, a monument to constancy.

But no more.

So sometime between now and 4:30 on Friday, I need to pack up 3+ years worth of accumulation so that the cubicle people can tear down my cube and move it—three feet to the right.

My life has become a comic strip.

You should hire burly wo/men to just lift everything and move it the three feet all at once. It gives you an excuse to submit an expense reimbursement to work with the word "burly" on it. These opportunities do not occur every day.

the lighting and sound is AWE-INSPIRING


if they would have made the movie like this (which would NOT have been difficult) it would have been much better

i'm impressed by the reaction of my character to being slashed by two big sets of claws; namely - yelp and NOT point my gun in the same direction it was pointed originally. it's amazing.

it's scary enough that i actually have to get really motivated to play it. you know, grow a new set...so demons can tear them off again.

How does Doom 3 compare to Half LIfe 2?

I've been contemplating playing it but keep pushing it off for other games.

i haven't played HL2 so i can't say for sure

but doom 3 is $20 at target and it ate my balls
